PROGRAMME
Recently, serious games increasingly attract the attention of business community, universities and research centres. On one hand, computer games become an effective marketing tool, and on the other, the opportunities of the new technologies allow users to develop a completely new type of knowledge and skills in a specific context. Serious games are increasingly used in recruitment and assessment of competencies for human resource development, for changing attitudes and building complex competencies.
During the seminar we will:
- present the projects LUDUS, BRIC ITT, ENERGY-WISE, BIOIENET, TARGET and others;
- invite one or two foreign experts;
- demonstrate easy accessible and free of charge games, which can be freely used for development of business end entrepreneurial skills;
- introduce to the audience two of the winners in the LUDUS competition;
- do practical demonstrations and testing of serious games.

TOPICAL ISSUES TO BE DISCUSSED
Within this one-day seminar we will show you why and how serious games can be used in business and what are the benefits of the development and implementation of serious games in different contexts. There we are going to present several case studies and serious games in the field of Business and Entrepreneurship, several European projects and real games.
