European Day of the Entrepreneur (EDE) October 24-25, 2013 WITH THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION

THE EUROPEAN IDEA

The EDE idea is an initiative with earnest traditions of the United Europe. This event was organised in the frame of the PAXIS Network (The Pilot Action of Excellence on Innovative Start-ups) aimed at dissemination of best models for establishing new technology based companies. The concept of this forum is introduced by EUROCITIES (Network of the European Towns) and the European Commission. More information you can find here and here

The EUROPEAN DAY OF THE ENTREPRENEUR '2013

The European Commission Representation in Bulgaria, Ministry of Economy and Energy, and the Scientific Research Centre at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" have the pleasure to invite you to the 11th annual forum dedicated to the promotion of entrepreneurship in Bulgaria: "The European Day of the Entrepreneur 2013", held within the European SME Week on 24th and 25th October 2013, at the Inter Expo Centre in Sofia, Bulgaria. The topic of the event this year is: "THE SCIENCE IN SUPPORT OF INNOVATION IN THE ECONOMY". Various modules will focus on issues such as startup entrepreneurship, tools to promote cooperation between science and business, technology transfer, cluster policy, innovation in entrepreneurship education as well as presentation of the new Operational Programme "Innovation and Competitiveness" 2014-2020.

Traditionally, the event will bring together representatives of business, administration, academics, and investment funds. The forum takes place owing to the joint efforts of the European Commission Representation in Bulgaria, Ministry of Economy and Energy, and the Scientific Research Centre at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

The forum will be attended by representatives of the European Commission, Bulgarian government, business associations and chambers of commerce, NGOs, academia and other stakeholders related to development of entrepreneurship in the context of the Single Market.

On 20 October 2013 the e-registration was closed in order to provide time for prepration of participants' badges. You can register yourself on-site the forum venue (INTER EXPO CENTRE, Hall "Vitosha").
