The EUROPEAN DAY OF THE ENTREPRENEUR '2012
15-16 October 2012, National Palace of Culture, Sofia
Sofia University "St.Kliment Ohridski" in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Transport (MEET) and with the financial support of the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria is organizing the 10th issue of the European Day of the Entrepreneurship (EDE). This year the slogan of the forum is "Together for a New Growth: Science and Entrepreneurship in the Single Market". EDE is organised jointly with the "20 years Single Market" forum both they carried out in the frame of the two European weeks: "Single market" and "SMEs".
The EDE Agenda is structured in 24 panel sessions devoted to different topics and held in two days. In addition, three one-day seminars will be carried out: "Green Offices" – the New Entrepreneurship Culture; Business with the Countries from the BRIC Group; "Knowledge Management Models and SMEs Organisational Environment" as well as variety of sessions, round tables, workshops and serious games.
Some of the topics to be presented during the 10th issue of the EDE are:
- Procedure and conditions for bestow a prize by MEET – European Awards for Entrepreneurship Encouragement;
- Presentation of innovation and entrepreneurship oriented SU project results;
- Actual topics devoted to Single Market: Twelve Levers for Growth Encouraging and Trust Strengthening, Related to Access to Finances, Professional Mobility, Services, etc.
The second day will be devoted to discussions on topics from the following areas of interest:
- Entrepreneurship Environment and the Technology Transfer Processes;
- Innovation Management in the SMEs;
- Entrepreneurship Education’ Challenges and a Model of the Student Entrepreneurship;
- Е-content and multilingual Libraries in Favour of the Entrepreneurship;
- Entrepreneurship in the Field of Culture;
- Innovative Tools for SME e-Training.
"Green Entrepreneurship" movie will be presented during the EDE.
Main lecturers will be representatives of the European Commission, governmental and local institutions, NGOs, business associations and chambers, universities, consultants, specialists, municipality experts, and others who have responsibilities to the entrepreneurship development in the environment of the Single Market.
